PDBC Hana Nui Red

Hana Nui Red is a mixed dragon boat crew for paddlers under 50 years of age. The ideal athlete on this crew is an intermediate level paddler with several years experience. Hana Nui Red athletes are committed to year-round training in order to achieve performance results in 2026.

*Please note that this is an intermediate performance program so athletes must be selected to compete with us.

2025/2026 Program Inclusions

All Hana Nui Red athletes will participate in the following programming:

Pool Paddling @ Afterburn Fitness Centre
PERG Paddling @ Alkame Paddle Zone
2 x PERG Testing @ Alkame Paddle Zone
Dragon Boat Practices @ Frenchman’s Bay Marina
2 X OC testing OR 1 half day Training Camp (to be confirmed)
Participation in 3 regattas

No sessions on the following dates: Dec 22 - Jan 2nd inclusive

Fees:

Annual Membership: $1,170.00 (HST included)

Payment can be made by cash, cheque, email money transfer or by credit card via PayPal. Please note that all PayPal payments incur an additional 2.9% convenience fee.

Jersey or equipment purchases
OC Club Membership (non-mandatory)
